PORTRAITS OF ELDERS, THE LAST GUARDIANS OF DISAPPEARING TRADES AND KNOWLEDGE.

Documentary series "Abuelos Cuentos" that reveals memory through captivating characters and stories. Portraits that explore trades and transmit the essence of the narrative over time. Brief episodes that connect us with our identity and promote inclusion and respect for diverse cultures in society, which are combined with the abstract through tools such as stop motion.

MAURA

Maura, at 84 years old, is the guardian of a very particular tradition: she recites amorfinos, verses filled with humor which very few know and that are fading from collective memory. "Tales of trades" is a documentary series that, across four episodes, immerses us in the lives of elders, the last custodians of trades on the brink of disappearing.

THE VIOLINIST

Gerónimo Lainez, along with other traditional musicians who are no longer with us, was responsible for accompanying newlywed couples from the church to their homes along the beach, playing continuously. At 86 years old, he tells us how much he would like to pass on his musical legacy to his children, who, for now, are each busy with their own jobs. A posthumous tribute to the last violinist of Atravezado - Simón Bolívar.
